Student Poetry Contest

STUDENT DIVISION WINNERS
There are three divisions for the poetry contest: Division 1-Grades 3-4, Division 2-Grades 5-6, Division 3-Grades 7-8.
Each of the three Division Winners will receive a gift certificate, award certificate, and a free copy of Award-Winning Young Writers of America. In addition, Division Winners will receive special recognition in the book.
GRAND PRIZE WINNER
There is one Grand Prize student winner. The Grand Prize winner is awarded with an XBOX 360, Nintendo Wii, or iPod Touch (student's choice), award certificate, and a free copy of Award-Winning Young Writers of America.
HONORABLE MENTION WINNERS
Honorable Mention winners will receive an award-certificate and a free copy of Award-Winning Young Writers of America. In addition, Honorable Mention winners will receive special recognition in the book.
TEACHER PRIZE
All teachers who enter 10 or more students in the contest will be entered into a drawing for $250.
WINNING NOTIFICATION
All prize winners are notified directly through mail and posted on our website. All winning notifications are sent to the teacher and/or school of the entrant. No student home address is required.
*Please note our contest rules which include requesting free copies of books for students with financial hardships.
